Mrs. Garrett will be at the High School in Room 1119.

Interests in And out of School:
My favorite classes are math based classes (shout out to Mr. Herrick, Mr. Kiss, and Mr. Moerdyke for being great teachers). I am in band and have been playing the clarinet for six years and have been a drum major of the high school marching band for one year. I play softball for the school and for a summer travel team. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, doing crafts from Pinterest, listening to music and surfing social media. Outside of school I also love to snowboard, hang out with friends, attend youth group, and spend time with my family.
Plans after Graduation:
After graduation I plan on attending college. I don’t have a solid idea of what I want to study but I am keeping my eyes open to options such as engineering, ministry, or sociology. Even though I’m not sure of what I want to do now, I know I will find something along the way that I was made to do.
Advice on Being Successful:
My advice to be a successful student would be to take notes whenever possible. You never know when a teacher will say something that might be on a test or quiz, so by writing it down you can refer back to it and know exactly what they were talking about. Also, study your heart out. It’s so hard for me to focus for long periods of time but by taking five minute breaks every half an hour I can refocus without wasting time. Studying is so worth it when you do well on an exam or major test.
