The Hopkins Public School District covers 95 square miles and consists of all or parts of six townships: Allegan, Dorr, Hopkins, Monterey, Salem and Watson. Over 1,650 students attend our four schools: Sycamore Elementary, Hopkins Elementary, Hopkins Middle School and Hopkins High School.
Hopkins is fast becoming the Destination District in our area with over 350 Schools of Choice students. The district’s outstanding test scores are an indication of the fine teachers, administrators and support staff that make up our professional learning community. From the Board of Education on down, the focus of the district is on the students.
There are many outstanding programs and offerings available to students at Hopkins Public Schools. Students are able to participate in state renowned programs such as robotics and FFA. Our arts and music programs are stellar. Students can take advanced placement, direct credit, online and blended learning courses. Many of our athletic teams and athletes have had success at state level competitions. Students in grades 1-12 are part of a 1 to 1 technology initiative and technology is prevalent in every classroom in the district.
The Hopkins Public School District receives strong community support. Partnerships with churches, businesses, civic groups and parent organizations provide for many additional opportunities for our students.
Yes, Hopkins is a great place to learn locally and compete globally!
