The Hopkins Public School District operates a 1:1 Portable Device Program in the Secondary level. Each student is assigned a netbook to use as their own for the school year, from grades 6-12. In addition, the Elementary Schools have a quantity of computers available for classroom use that students, supervised by teachers, can use for educational purposes.
On this page, we provide resources for various aspects of the netbook program including safety resources, FAQs, and troubleshooting steps. This page is a growing document and new resources and information will be added frequently.
We have a page dedicated to digital safety for the community. You can find that here.
How is my child protected from inappropriate material on the internet? How do we filter at school? How much does the program cost?
