The Hopkins Public School District and surrounding community proudly celebrated the 10th year of the Epic Toy Drive with another successful year of giving. On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, National Honor Society members departed from Hopkins High School at 9:00 a.m. to begin the annual toy delivery.
NHS members traveled to Hopkins Elementary and Sycamore Elementary Schools to pick up students before continuing on to deliver the donated toys. As they made their way through the district, Christmas carols were sung, adding to the festive spirit of the day. Upon arrival at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, students were welcomed by hospital volunteers and personally hand-delivered brand new, unwrapped toys collected throughout the month of December.
Thanks to the generosity of students, families, staff, Biggby Coffee in Dorr, Parker-Hannfin of Otsego, and community members, this year’s Epic Toy Drive raised $8,705 in donations. More importantly, these gifts helped bring joy and comfort to children spending the holiday season in the hospital. Thank you to everyone who supported this meaningful tradition and helped make the 10th year of the Epic Toy Drive a memorable success.
