A message from our Food Service Director, Mrs. Sapp:
Good Morning, There has been some confusion on filling out a benefit application - formerly known as the free/reduced meal application. A letter was sent to families last week via Final Forms asking for them to fill out the application as we wait for the state budget to be finalized. This is what the site looks like when a parent logs on, they need to hit the "apply for benefits" tab. They do not have to sign up for an account which requires each students ID#, the account is for monitoring cafeteria purchases and adding money.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email Mrs. Sapp at rhonsapp@hpsvikings.org ... See MoreSee Less
Good afternoon HES Families! Here is the latest edition of our Good News! This includes the link for background checks (if your attending field trips or volunteering in the building), updates on student of the month, and a few pictures from around the building! Have a great weekend!
Just a friendly reminder that our Elementary Open House is happening tomorrow (Wednesday) from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. We’ve made a few changes to the format this year to help things run smoothly.
The evening will begin in the gym with a brief welcome for each group, followed by classroom visits and teacher introductions. Please enter through the specials wing/central office doors and exit through the main front doors.
To help manage traffic and allow for meaningful conversations, we’re asking families to attend during the following time slots based on last name:
Last names A–L: 4:00 – 4:45 PM
Last names M–Z: 4:45 – 5:30 PM
If you’re unable to attend during your designated time — or have multiple last names in your family — please feel free to join the opposite session.
In addition, starting at 3:30 PM, our Curriculum Director, Karmin Bourdo, will be offering a Title I presentation in the gym for any families interested in learning more.
