Thank you students and parents for your amazing help and support getting your children to school on these testing days!
When should my child plan on being in attendance for their testing day?
All 9th-11th grade students must attend their digital readiness testing session on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. At this session they will complete all required preparation steps so that their CollegeBoard testing session runs quickly and smoothly. In addition, all Juniors will complete their ACT WorkKeys test the morning of Thursday, March 26, 2026.
After Spring Break, all Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen will complete their College Board Test on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 during the normal school day. In addition, all Juniors will complete their M-STEP Science and Social Studies tests on April 23, 2026. All testing sessions require all students to attend, and will be taken during the normal school day schedule. Seniors will not be required to attend school on April 14, 2026 (no Vo-tech either).
How will my child know where to report on their testing day(s)? What should they bring with them for their testing day(s)? Will safety protocols be in place during testing?
Schedules will be emailed to students and staff so that students know when and where they are to report, time frames for each test (and lunchtimes as well), and what they are allowed to bring with them.
Are students required to complete their test(s)?
Yes. These tests are mandatory by state law and free of charge. .
Does my child need to do anything prior to their testing day?
Here are a few recommended tips before testing day(s):
Yes. Here are two services, found at collegeboard.org that can be linked to your child’s account, that are great tools in looking into life after high school.
1 – Student Search Service (can opt-in to this service on Digital Readiness day)
Student Search Service connects students with additional colleges and scholarship organizations by sharing information with participating organizations, which will provide you and your student with:
• information about colleges and universities that match your student’s academic interests
• information on financial aid and scholarships to help deserving students access scholarships they’ve earned
• information about majors, courses, and degree options
2 – BigFuture School and Connections
The College Board only shares data with eligible colleges, universities, and scholarship and educational opportunity programs that signed an agreement to communicate with students only for the purposes listed above. These entities most often connect with students based on expected graduation date, cumulative grade point average (GPA), score range, and intended college major.
If you are interested in having your 9th, 10th, or 11th grade child opt out of optional questions on Digital Readiness Day (students still have the option to skip optional questions on their own as well), then you must fill out the following link by February 14th.
